FEBRUARY
-   Gold Rush Scavenger Hunt & Chili Cook-Off Passports are on sale, at The Vernon Winter Carnival Office.

• Gold Rush Scavenger Hunt (play Jan. 31 - Feb. 19) & our Chili Cook-Off (taste day is Feb. 15th).

MARCH
- March 15th is the 3rd Annual A Taste of Downtown Vernon 11am – 3pm @ The Schubert Centre, (just behind Freshco).
Live music and many of our food establishments.  $2 Samples.  It's FREE PARKING DAY at all meters.   Sample then walk through downtown, without worrying about your vehicle.

APRIL
- On Easter Weekend, play our Window Easter Egg Hunt.
We will place our numbered easter eggs in store windows. The general public will have a clue list to search for them. Stay tuned that week to our socials for details.

MAY

- May 24th: Shop Local at Downtown Days!  FREE PARKING DAY at all meters, Live Music and Entertainment.  Shop, Eat, Explore, Play in Downtown Vernon.

JUNE

- June 21st:  Kick-off the first day of Summer with us!   It's our 31st annual Sunshine Festival.   The largest outdoor event in the North Okanagan.  All of 30th Ave will be closed, for your enjoyment.   Enjoy FREE PARKING at all meters, in our 46 block radius.

JULY
- July 5th is the Downtown Car Show, 4 - 8pm on 30th Ave.

- July 19th: The Downtown Vernon Performance Festival. Downtown Vernon comes alive with a variety of performances, inside and outside.  Watch live artists, live sculpting, circus acts, musicians, dancers and so much more.  View our events page and socials for more details, as we get closer.

JULY & AUGUST
- Thursdays:
Downtown Sounds returns, with weekly Free Live Music!  It will be hosted by The Museum from 6pm – 7:30pm. Games, Food Trucks, Vendors and Music!  View our calendar (as we get closer to the date), for our band schedule.

AUGUST
- Aug. 9th:  Pickleball Day in Downtown Vernon.  With the success from last year (with all courts were busy all day), it's back! 3300 block on 30th Ave Street closure, for tourney courts, demo courts, activities, food trucks...

SEPTEMBER
- 20th: It's The End of Summer Party!
With 3 bands, Food Trucks, Games and much more. View our event page, for further details. FREE to Attend (all ages).  Park and don't feed the meters, as it's FREE PARKING DAY.

OCTOBER
- 31st is The Treat Trail!
Bring the family downtown for treats between 3pm - 5pm, (before you head into your own community).

NOVEMBER
- Nov. 28: Join us at our 2nd annual Kick Off To Christmas Event, called... FROSTIVAL.    With the massive success for our inaugural event, it will be back (with many new surprises).  The City will be closing off parts of 30th Ave that morning, yet with it being FREE PARKING DAY feel free to park and don't feed the meters!   Free parking day in Downtown Vernon, (46 block radius).  We will have a blend of entertainers, vendors, activities, photo ops, games, attractions etc. AND a Santa Parade! Stay tuned for date and info.

DECEMBER
-   Nov. 29 + Dec. 6, 13 & 20th are FREE PARKING DAYS!
